Fun Run:
5K Weed Stampede Fun Run
Join the first Arabidopsis Weed Stampede! This free event is open to all registered conference attendees. The 5K Fun Run will take place at the Lake with prizes for the fastest male and female finishers. In case of a tie the winners will be chosen by a drawing.
Location: meet in the Union Theater Lobby
Time: 6:45 am (Run starts at 7 am, liability waiver must be signed before race start)
Date: Saturday, June 25, 2011
Each runner must sign a waiver releasing the University and meeting organizers from any liability incurred during the event.
Liability waivers can be signed and returned by email prior to the meeting. Otherwise, waivers to sign will be available at the run itself.
Fruit, muffins, bagels and drinks will be provided to runners at the conclusion of the run.
Childcare Options:
Two options for childcare during the 2011 ICAR.

Conference staff do not facilitate childcare services.
Conference attendees are strongly encouraged to make inquiries and reservations well in advance of needing care to ensure that they are able to get the care they need.

Registration fee and hourly fee are paid when you arrive at the center.
Hours available depend on the age of the child and the program they qualify for.
Expected open hours this summer: 8 am - 5 pm.

Reservations for the summer can be made as early as May.
