Great HallReservations

  1. A room reservation must be completed with the Central Reservations office (262-2511) prior to making any catering order. Early reservations are encouraged as room availability is limited.
  2. For member events, a deposit is required at the time of reservation when reserving Wisconsin Union large banquet and reception facilities. The deposit is applied to your catering bill the day of your event.
  3. When you make your reservation, plan to discuss any special needs your group may have. Details concerning room arrangements, table set-ups and any equipment or audio/visual needs should be discussed as early as possible, but at least 2 weeks in advance.
  4. Any dramatic deviation from the planned and agreed upon meeting room set-up and/or equipment needs may result in additional labor charges.
  5. The Wisconsin Union does not allow the affixing of anything to the walls, floors, or ceilings of rooms. Taping, nailing, or stapling to walls or any other surface is not allowed. If these rules are violated, the patron agrees to be responsible for any damage to the premises or equipment by members, guests, or outside groups contracted by the patron. Damage charges will be assessed and charged to the patron and/or group to cover necessary repairs.
  6. The Wisconsin Union assumes no responsibility for damage and/or loss to any merchandise and/or personal items left in our banquet facilities or meeting rooms. This applies during set up (prior to the event), during the event and after its conclusion.
  7. No outside food or beverages of any kind may be brought into the Wisconsin Union banquet or meeting rooms. All food and beverages must be purchased on site or through the Catering office.
