Upcoming Events

The Contemporary Issues Committee organizes programs around topics and issues facing the world today. Our goal is to bring these issues to the UW campus community through debates, dinners, discussions, forums, and more. We hope to foster a campus-wide dialogue through our programs to better inform students about the world in which they live.

Whether it be a fierce debate between two congressional candidates or a dinner discussion on the current relationship between India and Pakistan, the committee fosters awareness in a variety of ways, covering topics from terrorism to tuition, and everything in between.
