Distinguished Lecture Series

The Distinguished Lecture Series (DLS) is a well-established Union tradition. The Wisconsin Union Directorate DLS committee is responsible for programming an annual series of seven to ten high-profile speakers selected from audience nominations.
The series seeks to represent a diverse set of views and is especially interested in challenging current norms and ideals.
Past speakers include Richard Dawkins, Al Sharpton, Kurt Vonnegut, Spike Lee and David Suzuki.
