A: A gift card may be cancelled and replaced with required proof of purchase at the Wisconsin Union Cashier’s Office. The replacement card will contain the remaining balance of the lost card at time of cancellation.
Q: Can I obtain cash with a gift card?
A: Gift cards are not redeemable for cash.
Q: Can additional deposits be made to a gift card?
A: Yes, additional deposits can be made at the Wiscard Office at Union South. A $10 minimum deposit is required.
Q: How do I find out the remaining balance on my gift card?
A: The account balance is printed on the receipt after each purchase. You may also call (608) 262-1667.
Q: In what dollar denominations is the gift card available?
A: Gift cards may be purchased for any dollar amount between $10 and $500.
Q: Does the gift card have an expiration date?
A: A gift card account is subject to closure after 5 years of inactivity.
Q: Does a gift card provide any Wisconsin Union membership benefits?
A: No, proof of Union membership is still required at certain locations.
Q: Are there any Wisconsin Union locations where the gift card cannot be used?
A: At the present time the gift card is not accepted by Mini Courses or Hoofers.
