Dinner & Dialog: The Promise of Our Democracy
Join others in a facilitated two-night dialog about the promise of our democracy over dinner. We will explore a variety of issues including the ways in which our democratic/electoral system might be changed to better realize its potential. Explore a list of seven possibilities for our democratic system, from a stronger electoral process to "free to be you and me" via a facilitated dialog designed to explore, further develop, and consider the implications of each change. At the conclusion of the second session we will reflect on how we might engage in our own quality public policy deliberation/dialog, naming the elements for creating a civil discourse over dinner. This FREE event includes your two dinners and is presented in cooperation with Wisconsin Union Directorate and the Interactivity Foundation. Registration is required and you are expected to attend both dates.

- UW-Madison Faculty/Staff (pay an additional $10/course)
- OR registering for and attending a course with one of the above as a “Guest”
