Parking Information

For almost all classes there is parking within two blocks of your meeting place.
We have a PARKING INFORMATION FLYER which can be provided with your Confirmation notice,
email us at: wumini@union.wisc.edu and we can mail one out to you. The UW Transportation Services Office at 263-6666 also has information. Public parking is available within a two block radius of Memorial Union (800 Langdon St.) and Union South (227 N. Randall Ave.). The Lake Street and Frances Street Ramps are between State St. and University Ave. Free parking for UW Hospital courses in Lot 63, north and west of the Hospital. Metered parking is also available in University Lot 1 (between the Memorial Union and Red Gym), Lot 6 (H. C. White), Lot 83 (600 University), Lot 46 (600 W Johnson), Lot 47 (700 W Johnson) and in the Stadium lot west off Randall Ave. Free parking in some University lots is available after 5 pm, please be sure to check the sign at entrance to each lot.

Parking With Kohl Center Events
Events at the Kohl Center dramatically affect parking availability and cost. When there are events scheduled at the Kohl Center we offer the following suggestions: - Come to campus earlier than you normally would. - If you must drive, expect traffic congestion and parking to cost more. - Best bets for available parking include: Helen C White (Park St. at the lake), Grainger Hall (enter off Brooks between University and Johnson), and the Lake/Frances St. ramps.
