Music
The WUD Music Committee programs music at both Memorial Union and Union South. Music ranges from local singer-songwriters to headliners like Vampire Weekend, Girl Talk and Fleet Foxes. Most shows are free and open to UW-Madison students, faculty, staff and Wisconsin Union members and guests.
The WUD Music Committee sometimes features paid programs that extend beyond the scope of free weekend music programming. Recent paid programs include Broken Social Scene and Mason Jennings. Watch for these shows throughout the year.
Venues
The WUD Music Committee programs exclusively for three venues. The Memorial Union Terrace where bands play five nights a week on the UW Credit Union Summer Stage. Der Rathskeller provides a German beer hall feel for a more intimate music watching experience. The Sett is home to a brand new stage built specifically for live music and performances.
Music is sponsored by the Wisconsin Union Directorate Music Committee with support from Frank Beer Distributors, General Beverage, Wisconsin Distributors and the UW Credit Union.
