TRAFFIC ALERT: The MUR Project will be performing some utility work that will affect Park Street and the Park Street circle. The work is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 13 and should be complete by Friday, May 17. Park Street will remain open though a crane will cause some congestion at times.
We strongly urge visitors to use the Lake St. ramp. Use the links below to determine real-time parking availability in this ramp (referred to as Lot 9/State St. ramp) as well as Lot 6 under Helen C. White.

Memorial Union
Lot 1 is closed for construction
- Handicap spaces will still be available for UW Handicap permit holders only.
Lot 6 (Helen C. White Library Parking Garage)
- 175 metered parking spaces available
- The upper level is available to visitors daily
- The lower level is available to visitors evenings and weekends only, except on special event days
- Located west of Memorial Union
- Enter on Park Street
Lot 7 (Grainger Hall Ramp)
- During evening and weekend hours (excluding football games and other campus-wide events) most of the approximately 400 space ramp is available for University visitors at $2/space payable to booth attendant
- 45 spaces available for limited hourly parking at paymaster stations daily
- Located between University Avenue and Johnson Street
- Entrance on Brooks Street
Lake Street Ramp
- 1,200 spaces of paid visitor parking.
- Available daily
- Located three blocks southeast of Memorial Union on Lake Street between State Street and University Avenue
- Enter on Lake Street or Francis Street
Lot 46
- More than 139 metered visitor spaces
- Available daily
- Located between University Avenue and Johnson Street, adjacent to University Square
- Enter on Lake Street
Lot 83 (Fluno Center)
- Adjacent to Lot 46

Union South
Union South Parking Garage
- Located underground beneath Union South
- Enter on Dayton Street
Lot 16
- Limited visitor parking from 4:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday, except on special event days
- Enter on Monroe Street
Lot 17
- From 7 AM - 12:30 AM, pay the meter, pay at the gated exit or display a valid UW Annual Baselot permit for the lot.
- Saturday and Sunday, the meters are free and the lot is open to the public.
