Representatives of Sutter Instrument and Leeds Precision Instruments will be on site to demonstrate the use of some of their equipment.

The focus will be:

Manufacturing electrodes for whole-cell recordings and spinal cord injections - a free copy of the Sutter Pipette Cookbook will be provided.
Overview of features and approach to using the Sutter P-97 micropipette puller and the BV-10 beveler
Micromanipulation of electrodes using the Sutter MP-285, MP-225, and MPC-200 series micromanipulators
Demonstration of Olympus microscopes and objectives for whole-cell recordings.

Participants should notify Lea Ziskind-Conhaim by May 14th if they have requests for special demonstrations by these companies.
