Optional Social Events

Below are two fantastic optional social events that will be offered during the Spinal Cord Conference. Please indicate when you register if you would be interested in attending either event. If you select yes, an email will be sent you to you in early May confirming your attendance with additional information (and invoice).

Cookout
Thursday, June 14th
7 – 9 pm

Experience the local tradition of a night on the terrace (Memorial Union) with good food and great company.  Enjoy great live entertainment on the Lakefront Terrace overlooking Lake Mendota.  The cookout will start at 7:00 pm and will feature brats and hamburgers for a true Wisconsin experience.  For a great meal without all the meat, enjoy Boca brats and burgers along with potato salad, fresh garden vegetables, vegetarian beans, and gourmet cookies for dessert.  Also provided will be Wine and various beer selections from our local and award-winning Capitol Brewery.   The cost is $20.00 per person.

Taliesin
Saturday, June 16th
7:30 am - 2 pm

Come join us for an inside look at the famous home of Frank Lloyd Wright. We will travel to the scenic hills of Spring Green to enjoy a two-hour tour of Wright’s masterpiece. This tour is a great way to experience beautiful architecture and nature and will surely be a memorable end to your stay. Approx. cost of tour: $60.00 (price may be lower depending on total numbers).

Deadline for registration for these events is Friday, May 11, 2007.

Speakers must register before submitting an abstract.
Potential student speakers, abstract submission: March 9, 2007
Lodging reservations (via registration site): Friday, May 11, 2007
Payments: All charges must be paid in full after Friday, May 11, 2007
