Cancellations: All reservation cancellations must be communicated in writing to Conference Services, (symbiosis@union.wisc.edu) no later than Monday, July 6, 2009 or participant will be charged the full amount.

Elizabeth Waters Hall

Elizabeth Waters, located two blocks from the Wisconsin Union, offers single and double occupancy rooms with single/twin beds in a smoke-free environment. Rooms do not have private bathrooms, but each floor has single-gender bath facilities, which includes private shower areas. Men, women and mixed-gender couples will be assigned to separate floors.
All rooms are air-conditioned and include bed linens, pillows, blankets, towels, washcloths, drinking cups and soap. The following services and amenities are also included in every room: daily housekeeping service, small refrigerator, telephone with free local calls, and free high-speed Internet and cable television connections. Televisions are located in the shared lounge areas.
Alarm clocks, phone cards, irons/ironing boards, Internet cables and other items are available for sale or rental at the 24-hour hall desk. Laundry facilities and vending machines are also provided in the building.
Parking is not included with your residence hall accommodations. Parking permits should be ordered through the Wisconsin Union when registering for the conference.

The Best Western Inn Towner is located on the western edge of the UW campus, in downtown Madison. It is approximately 2 miles away from the Memorial Union. The hotel houses 176 non-smoking guest rooms and suites, each including private bathrooms. Complimentary shuttle service is offered to and from the airport as well as to and from the meeting site. Complimentary on-site parking is also included.

The University Inn is located in the heart of State Street. Each room contains a private bathroom and cable TV. Most single rooms come with a king sized bed, and most double rooms have queen sized beds. Over the span of the past two years, facilities have been renovated in step-wise fashion. At present, all rooms contain new carpeting, wallpaper, heating and air conditioning units, curtains, and bedding. All rooms include complimentary high speed internet access.
Included with every room are the following services/facilities/amenities: complementary continental breakfast, free parking, small refrigerators are available upon request for guests staying with us over extended periods of time, hair dryers and irons which are available anytime needed at the front desk. Also available are toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, shaving cream, and other personal items, offered at no additional charge.
Please note! This hotel is located directly on State Street and may be noisy at night.
