Call for Student Competition Entries

The TeraGrid Conference poster session is an opportunity for students to share their research and network with professional colleagues at all levels.
Undergraduates and graduate students are invited to showcase their research and creativity by submitting a poster abstract for the second annual TeraGrid Conference, June 4-8, 2007.
Posters are invited in all research and education areas but should be consistent with the conference theme, “Broadening Participation in TeraGrid”. Poster formats may involve graphic elements on poster board as well as laptops for presenting additional information (bring your own - laptops will not be provided.)
Awards for the best poster presentations will be given in each category
Prizes (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) will be awarded in each category, graduate and undergraduate. Winning entrants will also be invited to a special luncheon with scientists from the National Science Foundation. Winning students will receive an all expense-paid trip to SuperComputing 2007 – the premiere annual conference showcasing high performance computing. The conference will be held November 10-16, 2007 in Reno, Nevada. In addition, top winners will each receive a $500 cash prize to support their research.
