ISIC (International Student Identity Card)
The ISIC provides degree-seeking students with the following benefits:

Discounted student travel, including reduced airfare at travel agencies such as STA.
Accident and Sickness Insurance (including evacuation insurance that is generally not available with regular insurance plans).
The card works as a phone card for long distance calls around the world. There are five free minutes of long distance phone time on the card at time of purchase. Instructions are included as to how to add more money onto the card.
The ID is the only internationally accepted proof of student status, whereas, your college ID may not be accepted for discounts into museums, historical sites and more!
