European Rail Products
Call ahead to Essentials (265-3000), Memorial Union

Traveling by train is the best way to experience Europe in it's entirely; you will be traveling directly through the countryside, and will see places not visible by plane or car. Essentials can help you do this through our list of products from Rail Europe. There is no processing fee, and the passes are available for pick up on the next business weekday.

Global Passes: Covers 20 European Countries
Passes can be issued for consecutive days or as flexi passes for anumber of days over a 2 month period. Special rates are available for people under 26 and adults traveling together.

Eurail Select Passes: Choose 3-5 countries from the 20 Global Pass countries plus others.
Passes are issued as flexi passes for a certain number of days over a 2 month period. Special rates are available for people under 26 and adults traveling together.

Individual Country and Two Country Passes:
Rail Europe offers a variety of passes for just one country or two. Special rates are available for people under 26, seniors over 60 and adults traveling together.

Premier Trains and Reservations:
Essentials can issue you individual point to point tickets for most major cities in Europe. Train seat and overnight train accommodations can be reserved as well.

Advising Appointments:
Do you need advice on general rail travel or help planning your trip out? Essentials offers advising appointments. Please call to set up a half hour appointment or email Dan at colleran@wisc.edu.

Stop in at Essentials and fill out an application form for our European Rail Products or print one out from our web page. All passes will be available for pick up on the follwoing weekday after ordered. No processing fees. Please allow 3-5 business days to process reservation requests. Reservations do require a service fee of $20.00 after the first two requests. Pay by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express), Wiscard, or cash. Passes can be express mailed in the United States for a $19.00 fee.
