About the WUD Art Committee
The Wisconsin Union Directorate Art Committee is a student-run committee dedicated to showcasing the visual arts. The committee selects, installs, and accessibly presents local, national, and international contemporary artwork in its four gallery spaces in Memorial Union and Union South. The committee collaborates with other organizations to create ancillary programming that recontextualizes standard approaches to the visual arts. WUD Art visits artist studios as well as local and regional art centers to broaden awareness of current trends in contemporary art.
