About the Global Connections Committee

The Wisconsin Union Directorate Global Connections Committee is a volunteer organization that any UW student or staff member with interest can participate in.

The committee strives to foster awareness of global issues and opportunities to students and staff here at UW-Madison through our fun and informative programming.

We hope to build friendship, encourage creativity and leadership, and create dialogue between domestic and international members of the campus community.

The objective of our programs is to generate international interest and increase knowledge and understanding of people around the world in a fun and welcoming environment at the Union!

We meet at 6-7pm every Wednesday during the academic year (skipping holidays and Spring Break).  Please check the Today in the Union (TITU) for the current week's meeting location.  Gain experience and get involved in the committee. Lend your hand and creativity in planning fun, educational, international and multicultural events at the Union! Everyone is welcome!
